Replace an existing group copy from the course template.

Each group starts with a copy of its course lessons and sales page. Editing the source course later does not change an existing group. Use resync when a group should use the latest copy of either part.

Check the group's own edits before resync. Course resync can replace lesson text and remove lessons from the active student path. Work already recorded for removed lessons stays in student history. Lessons that still match the source keep their student work and group dates; new lessons may need dates set in the group. Sales page resync replaces that page's content and cannot be undone from the interface.

Update a group

  1. Open the group. Check Build for lessons or Storefront for the sales page. Note any changes made only in this group.
  2. Choose Resync course for lessons or Resync storefront for the sales page. The two actions are separate, so choose only the part you mean to replace.
  3. Read the confirmation and choose Replace with template. The chosen part now uses the source course's current version.
  4. Preview the group. After a course resync, check the lessons and their dates in the student view. After a storefront resync, check the public sales page.

Sales page resync replaces its text, cover image, outline and layout without replacing lessons. For a live group, check student work before changing the lesson path. Groups explains settings that belong to the group.
