Only organization owners can change branding or manage the Stripe account. The following sections explain staff roles and email language. For terms and privacy documents, see Terms and privacy. For domains and CSS, see Domains and styles.

Role	What they can do
Owner	Manage the organization name and branding, Stripe and staff roles.
Manager	Work with courses, groups and students without the settings reserved for owners.

Use Settings → Team to invite a manager by email. An owner can later change that person's role to owner or manager. Students do not join the staff team; add them to a group to give them course access.

Course and group email settings offer English and Spanish. A course starts at Default (English). A group starts at Use course settings, meaning it follows its course until you choose a language for the group.

When the app sends an email, it first uses the student's chosen language if known. Otherwise it uses the group language, then the course language, and finally English. Changing a setting affects later emails, not messages already sent. Check the language before sending access messages.

Set up a service when the task calls for it:

Create a free course or add a student directly	No payment account or custom domain.
Take a payment in the sales page	An owner connects Stripe and finishes its setup.
Use an appointment slide	Connect a calendar in Scheduling, then choose an event.
Send course mail from your own domain	Add and verify the DNS records in Email.
Connect your own website to the API	Create a key with the permissions needed by that server.
